Revamped demo version
The Second Circle is a visual novel game developed by Team 133. It was already released before but, developers felt the need to put it back on the development. After a month, a revamped demo version of this fan game finally came out with a fresh art style that is heavily-based on the atmosphere of the original game. Brand new sprites for the entire cast were also added into this overhauled game version.
HellTaker-based fanmade game
To give you a background of The Second Circle's game inspiration, Helltaker is a puzzle-adventure game with dating simulation elements. It revolves around the story of a man named Helltaker who dreamt that he is surrounded by a harem of demon girls. Wanting to relive this dream, he takes on the journey to hell and convinces the girls to join him throughout the events of the game. However, your time spent with the girls here is short and painful.
As a tribute to the earliest work, the team created this fan game wherein you can extend your time dating the delightful demons and an angel that you've encountered initially in the Helltaker game. Both the original and fanmade game version is free-of-charge to play. Although, you can still voluntarily donate to the team for the further development of this fan-made visual novel through its itch.io download page.
This dating simulation looks fun and all but, it mostly doesn't work on Windows 10 devices. Whenever you try to run the executable file, you will hear the music and the game does open up. However, it can't be switched in the taskbar. Its fullscreen window can't be enabled or at the bare minimum, it won't even give any sort of viewable window. Thus, Windows 10 users won't probably enjoy the adventure that this fan game offers.
Impressive upgrade
Regardless of the persisting issue with Windows 10 devices, The Second Circle still did a great job applying necessary upgrades in order to serve fans of the original work with a superb fan game.
